Born and raised in Cape Town, South Africa, Gracia joined the United States Government’s Department of State in 1998 as a Foreign Service National working under both the Clinton and Bush Administrations. After immigrating to the USA in 2001, she spent time working as an administrative assistant in the fashion district, as well as in the commercial insurance industry in Manhattan. Moving to New Fairfield in 2005 has afforded her the opportunity to become involved in school and community volunteering opportunities, as well as being a mom to four wonderful children. If she is not indulging her love of cooking and baking, she can be found engaging her other passion of gardening.
